LIBERATION
Liberation is a personal poem which speaks about the desire of the soul to roam free, and the strength of heart to not give in to pain and hurt and remain true to your spirit. Towards the end of the poem, I have tried to incorperate a message of staying strong and using pain as motivation to do the best that you can at your chosen vocation.
THE WAY OF THINGS
The way of things, a poem I've written to describe the state of affairs. This poem is quite somber and reflects the need to remember the idealistic dreams of Martin Luther King and the hope that Barack Obama brings to not just American society, but also the world as a whole. This poem incorporates a slightly different style to my previous poems, i've opted to keep it more of detail poem which needs to be read slowly and understood to be fully appreciated.
A LIFE OF WORTH
A life of worth talks about the issues that society faces in this day and age, the death of an infant due to government malpractice, the children of the cities who commit crime just for something to do.The gulf in attitudes between difference societal social groups.These are the attitudes that need to be changed and addressed, we need to stop living in fear and start working together to fix the wrongs of the world.
