Hey all, i hope you had a good new years and are looking forward to whatever 2010 will bring you, I didn't have a great new years unfortunately, infact i fell asleep before midnight lol so i didnt even know about it, but nevertheless am greatful to have had today off work .

So today i've been at basketball as you might expect, had a 2v2 with tony, vonj and this kid noodles who turns up sometimes, started off with me and vonj versus than two, in a game which can best be described as 'dunk fest' overall i musta had about 4 or 5 dunks, a couple of real nice ones as well. By the end i was fairly worn out, i'd been playing in a new pair of shoes that i'd bought to replace some i was giving to vonj, these new ones were the air jordan 11 space jam edition, named so because they are the sames style of shoe that Michael jordan wore in the movie space jam (obviously) anyway with new shoes it takes a (painful) while to break some in, and my feet arent exactly in the best state at the moment, so it was hurting a bit to say the least, nevertheless i played through it as i always do.

Anyways onto actual updates of the site...

well i've started a new reviews section on the actual page itself for ipod apps, i thought it might be useful for people to read about them before they bought them for a users perspective, I dont have that many atm but i shall continue to update it with new ones that i buy.

anyway tomorrow is the weekend and that'll probably entail more basketball and likely a bit of shopping cos i wanna get some more winter stuff cos i'm frozen right now, my parents are still refusing to use the damn heating and when your living in a room thats got breaks in the window seal, as you can imagine its not pleasant.

Hey all hope you all had a great christmas break, and santa brought you everything you want, unfortunately now that its over and i'm back to work tomorrow but hopefully i can book off sometime to relax a bit more and get some literary stuff done, I hit the basketball court with the guys, managed to win our game of 1v1v1, and then a chinese dude turned up and we played 2 on 2 and well I dunked on him..lol, its been a while since i've done that, mainly cos nobody ever seems to turn up at the court anymore besides me, still I've enjoy playing with or without other people to play against, was bitterly cold though, I shall be glad when winter is over and summer is here again, mainly cos i hate the ice than forms on the pavements, i've nearly fallen over a few times on my way home from work, once in front of a very nice looking girl, in a way i kinda wished i'd made more of it to get some sympathy from her lol.

Anyway i'm quite looking forward to 2010, might as well try and make the most of it if the worlds gonna end in 2012 lol, god that film sucked...hmm...oh well lol...anyway i'm gonna try and do some more graphic work this week so stay tuned for that.

oh and here's my special christmas poem..as you may notice i'm a little rusty

Dear Santa,

This year for christmas I've thought long and hard,

I wanted something more than a christmas card.

Mommy told me I can't have expensive toys,

Santa doesn't bring things for naughty boys.

Instead he gives a lump of coal,

I didnt know they had that at the north pole...

And I thought, what with the fossil fuel crisis,

And current global energy prices,

You want to give something, a little more green,

Especially this year 'cause I havent been mean.

So how about you bring me some world peace,

Or make the food stocks in Africa massively increase.

Hey all, hope your having a nice weekend, mines been fairly productive, managed to get some basketball done yesterday, played through the snow in my shorts and t-shirt...yeah i'm a real macho man...hahaha....anyways, had a good time with that as usual, its just great to get out of my freezing house, as my dad still stubbornly refuses to have the heating on and also my bedroom window is kinda leaky when it comes to air, so during winter my rooms a freezer and during summer its a sauna...can't win really. But anyways, today I went shopping, got myself a very nice watch from Next and some under garments (easy ladies...) now I'm back home to the house and I thought i'd come on here to just update and stuff.

So...creative works wise...Incito is looking good, i'm determined to finish it before christmas, it's getting there but hopefully it'll be finished and i can start work on Issue Two, hopefully it goes down well...As for other stuff, i've got a new story in the works, which i'm hoping to somehow put into animation, although I suck pretty bad and animating, since i've not done any in about 5 years, but practice makes perfect, I think i'll post the story up here once it's finished and then work on animating it.

Poem wise, i've not got much to show right now i'm afraid, i've been trying to work on a christmas-y one but unfortunately, and ironically inspiration seems somewhat hard to come by...perhaps i need some writers solice to get something down. Which reminds me I do have a few other ideas saved on my ipod which i wrote down at work...it's real hard to try and do work and write down any ideas that come into my head, it's quite annoying when ur best inspiration comes at the worst times, perhaps its the mind numbing...sorry...sheer enjoyment...of working that inspires me.

I've got one new picture up in the other works album, as indicated by the site news feature on the right over there, it's a banner I designed for one of our affiliate sites Eye for Change. Hey whats up everybody

Well it's drawing closer to christmas, i'm looking forward to the time off work and getting lots of nice things hehe, i think christmas has become more of a joy of seeing peoples reactions to the things i get them rather than what i receive, simply because its nice to see what they think, hopefully i haven't got anything bad hehe.

Anyways things are looking good for my projects at the moment, the magazine is coming along nicely, you can check updates on the forum on this website, you don't even need to be a registered user to view them, but you do to post anything, so it's always worth signing up :P

Anywas I'm hoping for a bit of snow next week, so i can take some photos and get them up on the site, photography is a medium i've been looking to get into for a while. So hopefully we'll get something. I've now got my drawing tablet installed on this laptop so hopefully i can get some graphics done as well.

On the writing side of things i've got a few good story ideas and some poem ideas to work on so i'll post updates on the forum and/or a blog entry so you guys can check it out. I'm also working on some more game reviews. So stay tuned for more of that.

Hi all, bit of a personal blog this one as i have nought to update on with regards to the site.

Basically another one of my good friends at work left a few days back, Annetta was one of the receptionists who'd been there since i'd started, she'd be forced into retirement because the RUH trust wouldn't employ bank staff which she was, anymore so she had to go. It's really sad to see her go, she offered me a lot of support through the past few difficult years. She'd always encouraged me to try and make more of myself, but through my own stubborness i'd refused to really listen to her, just sticking to what i knew and what was comfortable, self pity and cynicism.

Although I know she won't read this, i'd like to thank her for sticking by me, and for always encouraging and support me, both through my work, my art and myself. Without her things would have been a lot harder.

Ok just to clear things up with my last blog, no it wasn't actually my birthday! I'm just not usually that liberal with my cash, or am I? Maybe I am....Oh well...where was i?

Ah yes this weeks blog. Well, we have some exciting developments in the works, for starters word is beginning to spread about the creative work i'm doing and i'm getting more and more interest for it, so it's time to step up a gear, in the works i've got a webstore in development from which I plan to begin my publication and media business, working witth some of my creative friends i'm planning to try and get as muc h interest in our media as possible. SeraphsWorld is now on google and Yahoo which means alot of extra traffic and more time devoted for the development of the site(s) for me.

For the time being, I've just got my old photoshop back on the pc, and i'm gonna try and improve my work with a graphics tablet i bought ages ago but never really used much, now that i've turned my room upside down and found the stilus I can get to work.

For me its been a real hard to choice for which media type to follow i've always been reasonably good a majority of media aspects, but never really mastered anything, a jack of all trades so to speak. But i think if i can improve on all areas then really that opens up my options alot more, so i'm gonna try and do that.

Hey all, well winter appears to finally be here, so it looks like post-work basketball is done until March but on the plus side it means I can use my evenings to work out and get super strong ready for next years season and also work on the site and my other ongoing creative projects.

So far my weeks been fairly dull at work, had a few stressful long days and it's been a great joy to get home sometimes, but still.

Yesterday I finally got round to trading in my laptop to pcworld with their trade in your old banger and get 100quid off a new one. So i traded mine in, got 80quid, that's 340quid less than i originally paid for that crap pile, but still. I've got myself a new shiney one now, an awesomely big but sexy Dell inspiron and it sure is inspiron me. Ok that sucked but anyway....lol ehem...so yeah i've been working on getting it up and running with my backed up files and programs so thats nearly done now, and once it is i shall be getting on with some poetry and writing that i've got stored on my itouch which needs typing up and publishing.

As for updates, well i've been working on the seraphwiki page quite a bit i've got a few game reviews up and running now, including uncharted 2, fifa 10 and tekken 6 with a need for speed shift one in the works, i've also got 2 album reviews which are kinda half done, i plan to move onto movie reviews as soon as i can.

Also very excitingly, seraphsworld now has its own wikipedia style section, i'll be transferring over my various reviews onto it over the course of time, currently it's got some nearly finished reviews for ps3 game uncharted 2 as well as music reviews for newton faulkner and muse's new albums. More to come on that front for sure.

Hey all

Well its another sunday with nothing to do, so i thought i'd write a nice little blog.

I guess I should start with what's been happening, as well, thats generally the point of a blog isnt it...well yesterday i was at the court, if u've been reading my previous blogs you'll probably have read that i'm having trouble with injuries lately, this week a new one reared its ugly head. I've basically gone and severely hurt my right arm, i've got elbow joint and terrible wrist pain, which are really bugging me. It sucks because right now i'm in the prime of my basketball abilities, street-wise, my shooting was great and my dunking was going well, I really want to get the most out of my body before i'm too old to do anything, yet even tho i'm only 21 i seem to have reached that stage already, what with knee, ankle and now right arm pain. It's one of those times were you just feel like looking up at the sky and shouting; "Give me a F***ing break!!" Perhaps it's a sign I should give up for a while or that i'm making basketball less enjoyable for those I play against. Who knows.

I also had a blu-ray bonanza last week, blockbuster had an offer of 4 for a tenner which i felt i couldn't miss out on seeing as ironically i had only a tenner in my wallet at the time. I rented The knowing (excellent, shit ending), Fast and the furious 4 (best of the series), Blood diamond (best film i've seen for a while) and Burn after reading (didn't watch properly and was ok from what i saw)

So all in all, had a good sitting with those.

As usual i've been feeling stiffled in my room, my job and well, just my life in general, and as usual I haven't been able to really do anything creative, except when i'm at work and have no time to do so. JOY. Nevermind, pay came on thursday, so my balance is now looking rather handsome, and possibly good or bad, i don't really have anything to spend it on. I've been looking at getting my own place for some time, but most of the affordable properties in bath are shit holes. sorry for the french, So far i've not had much luck with that or finding a new job. So as usual, it seems i'm stuck. Perhaps i should name this entry 'As usual'.

Still, sadly enough the only thing I seem to have to look forward to is the release of 2 NBA video games in a fortnight, and the release of the new lebron james basketball shoe at the end of the month. I might try and get some shopping done at the end of the weekend, i've seen a nice watch i've been eyeing up for a while in debenhams that i might get, and maybe a few dvds and things if i feeel like it.

What's good everybody?

Well i'm just relaxing and enjoying another lazy sunday, wish i could have more of these, prefferably midweek when i'm at my most stressed hehe.

Well so far the weekends been pretty decent, didn't have the best week of it last week, managed to break my phone, injury my elbow and discovered i've possibly got 'patella tendonitis' in both my knees which suffice to say isn't good for my basketball career. I've once again been invited to play league ball by a friend of mine, he says i'm wasting my talent playing at street level, but that's the way i prefer it. Playing against better people only means they hold the ball more and paying 30-40quid a month to watch other people my age play ball isn't doing it for me.

I suppose I should probably take it up but nevermind, if i feel i need to i will. Back to today anyway, i've got a couple new games to keep me busy until the NBA season starts in October, I know, i know i should be working on my poetry and my writing and trying to find a way out of my job, and i will, i'll get round to it. For sure, but right now I need to tidy my room!
